This scholarship honors Jim’s lifetime of service to patients, leadership in the advancement of pharmacy practice, mentoring of future leaders, and his fierce husky spirit!

The first annual
big jim classic
Hosted by the Lacy family
"Big Jim", as he was affectionately known by friends and family, was widely known as an avid golfer and diehard Husky fan.
During his year long fight against gastro-esophageal cancer, Jim managed to realize his dream of attending the 150th Open at St. Andrews. Sporting a feeding tube, he found the strength to play his final round on the Championship Course at Carnoustie Golf Links. Bucket List checked, thanks to "Jerry's Make-A-Wish Tour" of Scotland.
To honor Jim's memory and celebrate his passion for golf, the Lacy family invites you to join us for the inaugural Big Jim Classic.
Come enjoy a day of golf, camaraderie, and remembrance as we pay tribute to a man whose spirit, kind heart, and love of sport brought so many people together.
